Serleena is the evil, shapeshifting Kylothian queen, and the main antagonist of Men in Black II. She disguises as a female human portrayed by Lara Flynn Boyle.

Personality

Serleena is an extremly evil alien to the point that she will kill without mercy. She also keeps insulting her allies and enemies alike. She prefers to eat anyone who stays in her way or threatens her and using her tentacles for any other victims.

Story

The main antagonist of Men in Black II is a shapeshifter alien, coming from planet Jorn at Kyloth System, who came to Earth to steal the Light of Zartha. Traveling through space, she was contacted by Scrad/Charlie so she decides to land at New York. Slipping through the gardens, she finds a magazine showing some Victoria´s Secret model Lara Flynn Boyle in lingerie pics, and transforms into an exact copy of Boyle. Almost immediately, a thief attacks her with a knife. He takes her behind some plants with the intent of raping her. However, she eats him alive, head first causing her belly to become huge. She begins to digest the thief while walking slowly to the spot where the magazine is while lickin her fingers and moving her bely from left to right to digest the thief faster. She impatiently waits for the thief in her belly to finish digesting while looking at the picture and tapping her belly with her fingers. Realizing that this ruins her disguise, she pukes up his remains, then takes his clothes and gets dressed in an alley.

She then goes to the Scrad/Charlie´s department to find him watching TV and eating junk food. Without him knowing she´s Serleena, Scrad/Charlie gets impressed by her beauty. They talk about finding the light and agree to look for information at a near pizzaria, while she eats a greasy hamburger.

Serleena kills an alien who might know the where-abouts of the Light. She then storms MIB headquarters. Soon, Kay and Jay discover the Light is actually Laura Vasquez, a worker at the pizzeria and daughter of Zarthan Queen Laurana.

After Jay stops the countdown of a machine that would launch Laura into space, he shoots Serleena. She is seemingly destroyed, but her worm form survives. She regenerates and steals a futuristic spaceship-like vehicle to chase after the trio of Jay, Laura, and Kay. Then Serleena is tricked into being eaten by the giant worm, Jeff, along with her spaceship.

Inside Jeff Serleena mutates into a wormlike form, destroying him and attacking Jay and Kay as they wete getting Laura off Earth. Serleena trapped Jay with her vines but Kay shot them, briefly driving her back. She returned and showed her true form, that of a huge viney plant, as she raced after Laura, but Jay and Kay shot her with their weapons, destroying her in a fireworks display.

Other Appearances

• In Men in Black: Alien Crisis a simulation of her plant form is used as a boss fight during initiation.
